They requested several demonstration enclosures to assess their structural reliability and acoustic performance. The client asked us to recommend the most popular models intended for outdoor technical systems. One enclosure was required to be purely decorative, while the other had to provide up to 15 dB(A) noise reduction.
What Acoustic Enclosures Were Manufactured ?
Our engineers proposed and prepared two demonstration models — one decorative and one sound-insulated.
Both housings were designed for outdoor technical systems and produced at our IPCOM-Acoustic facility.
Sample 1: Heat Pump Cover (Decorative)

- Coating: RAL 7016 powder-coated surface
- Insulation: special porous acoustic rubber panels, 19 mm thick, which slightly muffle sound and reduce vibration.
This decorative heat pump cover, also suitable as an air conditioning cover, combines a clean architectural appearance with basic vibration and noise control.
The enclosure’s enlarged dimensions allow it to house one large or multiple standard outdoor units installed side by side.
It provides both aesthetic enhancement and partial acoustic protection for outdoor HVAC installations in residential and public environments.

This sound-insulated version provides certified acoustic performance, ensuring a balance between effective noise reduction and optimal airflow for heat-pump systems.
Operation Conditions for IPCOM-Acoustic Soundproof Enclosures
Each acoustic enclosure and decorative air conditioning (heat pump) cover manufactured by IPCOM-Acoustic can be operated outdoors at ambient temperatures from –20 °C to +40 °C and at a relative humidity of up to 80 %.
The housings are suitable for year-round use in various European climates.
Delivery of Acoustic Housings to Italy
Full production was handled at our IPCOM-Acoustic facility and took several weeks.
We organized door-to-door logistics and delivered the finished soundproof enclosures directly to the customer’s site in Italy within five days.
The demonstration samples arrived fully prepared for installation and ready for performance evaluation.
